Chocolate Raspberry Flavored Coffee

The flavor had nice balance. The smell of the coffee was nice. 10/10 This is not much but if you add little bit of chocolate syrup the chocolate notes does come out bit. As for the raspberry it gives a little tart which I liked. I recommend getting again.

This is my most favorite flavored coffee! The flavors together are so creamy and delish.

This is my new favorite flavor! The chocolate and raspberry are the perfect combination. I love to drink this black or with a sweet cream creamer to enhance the flavors.

Bit of context: This is my first coffee from TOTM because usually I get coffee from a local coffee roasters. Usually I get a light-medium roast coffee which I brew with an aero press and drink completely black. I've never been one for flavoured coffee, but I thought seeing as this was a limited time thing (and raspberries are my favourite fruit) I'd give it a go as a little treat.

Was not at all sure what to expect, but opening the bag and being smacked in the face with an extremely intense sweet raspberry smell I was a tad worried it was going to be TOO sweet. It was a lovely smell but in a flavour I could imagine it being overbearing.

Having brewed a cup, however, I was extremely pleased to find it was much more of a subtle fragrance that surrounds the drink, rather than overpowering it. The actual coffee flavour gets a bit lost, which I feel flattens the flavour of the drink somewhat. Even as the cup cooled it felt a tad one note, but a brighter coffee flavour to go alongside the fragrance of the chocolate raspberry would have enhanced the cup, I think. I'm going to experiment with stronger brews, longer brews, and different water temps to see if I can bring out more of the flavour.

Although I was apprehensive at first, I'm glad to have tried this, it's unlike any cup of coffee I've had before and, although I wouldn't want to drink it all the time, as a little treat for this month, I'm quite enamoured by it!
