Sunshine Story 1:
"In 2023 a category 4 typhoon struck Guam. It was my husband's birthday and sadly he was out to sea and had been for months at this point. I was alone with our kids and pretty scared. We made it through the storm safely but the aftermath was horrible. We were running low on supplies and were informed that it could be another month or two before the sub could return to port. I in a wheelchair and the grocery stores weren’t able to support curbside pickup or delivery.We happen to live on a resort and the workers did not forget about us. When we showed up to the minimart they had a limit on what you could buy but they made an exception for us. They even helped bring the food and drinks to my car. As soon as the island had recovered enough I asked the staff if there was anything they wanted as a thank you and all they wanted was a coffee machine for the office. We got them one and several bags of the coffee they kept saying was the favorite mail they would get because the smell was amazing, top of the morning. We always buy more bags than we use so we can either give them to the staff here or bring to the submarine on long deployments."
Sunshine Story 2:
"I live in the USA in the corner of Nebraska, so when my grandma was talking about the latest tea she bought at the weekend farm auction, I thought nothing of it! She’s went to these auctions for years and has a farm registered in her late husband’s name in a little ghost town, so you wouldn’t think there would be much there…but when she started talking about how this tea had the brightest and sweetest orange flavor and she absolutely loved it, I, of course, wanted to try.She showed me the package so I could have some and to my surprise—it was Top of the Morning Orange Blossom tea from before your rebrand!!! I told her about the fact the main CEO was a YouTuber and briefly about your story and she had a really great laugh—she got a bargain on a crate of your guys’ old products! $2 for 25 boxes of Orange Blossom tea..and now every time she goes, we find there’s a little more to add to my collection lol.
So thank you so much for your hard work, I’m so proud to see what you all have built! And I’m very proud to show off my coffee bar cabinet to all of my friends! I’ll be ordering more from you guys here soon! Your matcha sounds delicious!!"
Sunshine Story 3:
"I just want to say thank you for something you might not get a lot of comments about. I have been struggling for a long time trying to find a purpose in life. Something that would satisfy a desire I didn't know was so strong. Through TOTM, I found Crisis Text Line. I just finished my first shift as volunteer for CTL for people who are struggling with things I have once struggled with. It felt amazing to help people who just needed help and resources. I am on a high like I just drank 10 BIG Sonny cups of coffee. I have a long ways to go to be my best, but I feel like I really have a direction now.So thank you 🧡 know that people's lives are really changing because of you"
Sunshine Story 4:
"Good Afternoon, I am writing to tell you how great the S'mores coffee is! I absolutely love the aromatics that come from when I grind it up and get my French press ready. I've recently started mixing it with the Twilight and the taste is great!
I find that it really gets me going again, and makes me feel happy too.
Midnight oil is good when I need something strong and I also in the past have bought the double choc. I love the peppermint when I need a small piece of wintertime fun, and the double Choc, I was a little nervous at first to try it, but upon trying it with milk, it took me back to my childhood in France, and that is a hot chocolate on another level that I have never experienced in the states. It brought back happy memories of staying in the summer at my Grandma's house with my cousins, and waking up to have hot chocolate and country bread with butter with them. Thanks for the wonderful coffee, and amazing customer service that I have received before.
I also love the stoneware mugs so much, the 3rd anniversary ones really make the coffee taste better and make me feel cheerful when I'm a grump. The Coffee with friends one is also super sweet to share with my BF/partner and both have the same mug together with the same blends."
