Electric Mixer

I got this as a subscription bonus and I was so excited.

This came with a stand which is a perfect feature that allows the device to dry without possible drips to the handle, avoiding damage to the electronics.

Even though battery insertion was a bit tight, I do enjoy the tapered design to the handle.

When it works it works great but it drains the batteries super quickly and now it doesnt even work.

I got surprised in one of my coffee subscriptions with this product. I was super excited to use this to mix up my matcha with. However I only got maybe two good uses out of it before it just stopped working all together. I thought it might just be a fluke but I came on here to see what others were saying and it seems like a lot of others are having the same issue as well. It was a complete surprise to me that this product didn’t stand up to everything else that I’ve purchased in the past and it was honestly a little disappointing. I hope that TOTM comes out with a sturdy one that lasts and you’ll for sure find me snatching it up!

I love most of the things I've gotten from the company, unfortunately the hand mixer only worked for 1 /2 of a use before the power was gone. Tried changing out the batteries, as well as checking to see if there was any moisture in the device itself.

I'm not entirely sure how I ended up with this thing, seeing as I couldn't recall ever placing an order or receiving any sort of subscriber loyalty bonus, but I digress. The moment I received this little thing, I rushed to insert some batteries to put it to the test.
The battery compartment was quite a tight fit, and had me question if two AAs could even fit. Getting them lodged in the correct spaces required much more force than I expected such a small device to warrant, but I managed.
Once I actually got to use the thing, it worked like a charm! Foamed up the drinks quite nicely, and was quite easy to clean. The stand it comes with is adorable and makes for a playful addition to my little coffee area.
About three, maybe four successful and powerful uses later, the poor thing started to struggle. Its motor slowed down, the button started making a strange click noise - you had to squeeze the living daylights out of the thing to get it to spin. And finally, after its seventh use, it gave out.
I wanted to try and open up the mixer to see if I could diagnose the issue, but I'm not sure how to crack the pieces open without, well, cracking them. It could've benefitted from being accompanied with a user manual of sorts, but I've yet to give up on this little gadget. If not functional, it still makes for a charming little ornament.
